The rule of liquids in the cabin

In most airports, liquids, gels, creams and aerosols in cabin baggage must comply with three rules:

• containers of 100ml maximum each;
• all grouped together in a transparent resealable bag of approximately 1 liter, approximately 20 x 20 cm;
• only one bag per passenger, presented separately for inspection.

Some airports with new scanners are relaxing these rules, but not all: check with your departure and return airport. For other objects, consult the list of items prohibited in hand luggage.
